Second Annual “NEW Dancing with Our Stars” Campaign Launched, Benefits 8 Community Non-Profit Organizations

Green Bay, WI – A popular ballroom dancing event is returning for its second annual season in the Green Bay area. “NEW Dancing with Our Stars” (aka NEW DWOS) kicked off its second annual campaign this morning. Eight participants, each supporting a different local non-profit organization, were introduced. Those participants will spend the next several months fundraising for their chosen charities as well as learning one ballroom dance which they will perform at a spectacular showcase Saturday, October 5, 2024, at EPIC Event Center in Ashwaubenon.

Here are the participants and their designated organizations:

The inaugural NEW DWOS campaign held in 2023 raised nearly $600,000 for the eight participating charities. Kristy Maney took home the coveted Jim Rivett Memorial Fundraising Mirror Ball Trophy, raising $93,000 in support of Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin. Shawn Kiser of Rally Man Entertainment is the creator and producer of NEW DWOS with support from the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation.
